Duluth Dual Race Cancellation

It is with sadness that we announce that due to unforeseen circumstances the Duluth Dual has been cancelled.

Though we were hoping to bring a fun and unique event to the Northland for our community to enjoy, a lack of registrants has made the race untenable.

A full refund will be provided to those who have registered and this refund will be completed by the end of the day on July 2, 2019. To those who registered, we sincerely thank you for your support!

If you still want to participate in off road events in the Northland there are several to choose from! Below is a list of just a few of them:

Pre-Fat Bike Race in Cable, WI, August 17
COGGS Enduro Series in Duluth – various dates
American Birkebeiner in Cable, WI – various distances, September 28
Grand Traverse in Duluth, September 28
Bertram Blast (a little further south in Monticello) – duathlon, trail run, mountain bike, and off road triathlon options, July 20

Duluth Dual is the only off-road duathlon in northern Minnesota and it takes place on one of only six Gold-level centers in the world as recognized by the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA). This race is about fun, adventure, and stepping outside your comfort zone to enjoy the epic trails Duluth has to offer. Join us, you won't be disappointed.

As a triathlete, mountain biker, and trail runner, I've been wanting to put together an amazing off-road multi-sport event right here in my hometown for years. So after much thought and planning about the best possible location, I decided Mission Creek was where I wanted to take this leap of faith, because I was certain I wasn't the only one wanting to enjoy the beauty of these trails alongside the adrenaline only a race can provide.
